Vorsteiner G87 M2 at Bimmerfest Europe 2026

Bimmerfest Europe is one of those events where I’m always surprised at the amount of cars. But there are always cars that stand out between the usual crowd of modified Bavarians. Walking past the rows of G-series M cars, something about this G87 M2 just felt… different. It wasn’t shouting for attention, but the color and stance pulled me in. I ended up having a chat with the owner, Nigel, who had driven all the way from the UK to be at Bimmerfest.

The car itself is a 2023 BMW M2, built by Regal Autosport in Southampton. What really sets it apart is the full Vorsteiner VRS carbon fibre aero kit. Fitted by Kustom Kolors in Christchurch and imported from California in 2024, this could very well be the only fully VRS-kitted G87 in Europe right now.

And it shows in the details. The vented bonnet, colour-coded front wings, the ducktail rear, everything flows. It sharpens the already aggressive G87 design without overdoing it. The rest of the setup follows the same philosophy. Black Titan 7 forged wheels in a square 20-inch setup sit perfectly under the arches, while AST Moton coilovers keep everything planted. There’s even a front air cup system, which tells you this car isn’t afraid of real roads despite the low stance.

Under the skin, things get more serious. Regal’s stage 1 tune pushes the S58 to around 620bhp, backed up by a full list of cooling upgrades from CSF Radiators. Eventuri carbon intake parts and a Remus race exhaust finish it off, both visually and acoustically.

Inside, it’s clear this M2 isn’t just for show either. Tillet carbon buckets, a half cage, and a rear seat delete shift the focus firmly towards driving. And that’s exactly what stuck with me most. This isn’t a garage queen or a traler car. The owner drives it. Tracks it. Uses it. You can even see it in the small marks and wear, especially around the rear diffuser.
